Very good tool to get a rough idea of the performance of each fund. One suggestion though - it would be better if the user has the flexibility to set a historic investment date and could see a graphical results of return for each fund as well as for the entire portfolio across the time to current date. This will allow the user to assess the sensitivity of each fund's return to major historic events.

Not reliable when I removed a fund and recalculations were done with the remaining funds.

Tim Hewson: Tian, thank you for your feedback. I have checked the issues that you refer to and was unable to replicate them.I selected a fictional portfolio and then added and removed funds, testing the results as I made each change.

As we want to make sure that there are no other issues with the calculator, are you able to be more specific on the errors you encountered and possibly provide and example of the inconsistencies you experienced?

Excellent tool to judge the performance of various funds with endless possibilities..Also helps to find the best performing funds over the last 5 yrs. Perhaps an addition of 7 or 10 yrs will further enhance the tools accuracy.
