The calculator creates a fictional portfolio of managed funds and is not intended to be relied on for the purposes of making a decision in relation to a financial product and you should consider obtaining advice from a financial services licensee before making any financial decisions.

Although Rabobank considers the assumptions used to be reasonable, they are subject to the following limitations.

• The results shown by the calculator are based on the past performance of the funds and are a guide only. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.

• The calculator allows a maximum selection of ten managed funds from the RaboDirect investment menu (and may include any managed funds which at the time of the calculation are 'on hold') to generate a fictional portfolio and then calculates positive or negative growth of the fictional portfolio based upon the actual performance history of the selected funds over the terms of one, three and five years only.

• For each managed fund selected for the fictional portfolio, the user can choose any investment amount between $250 and $5 million. The default investment amount is set at $25,000 as a guide only and an alternative amount may be selected by the user for each managed fund selected in the fictional portfolio.

• The actual historic performance numbers used to calculate growth outcomes are provided by Morningstar Research Pty Ltd and are current as at the last business day of the previous month. Historic performance numbers are usually updated by the 12th of each calendar month, for the selected historical performance period to the previous calendar month. The performance numbers are calculated without adjusting for sales charges (such as RaboDirect fees) or the effects of taxation, but are adjusted to reflect all actual ongoing fund expenses and assumes reinvestment of distributions. The performance represents the percentage change in the fund/s soft close exit price adjusted for any capital re-organisation (eg, an issue of bonus units).

• The growth outcomes of the fictional portfolio are calculated by multiplying the investment amount selected and the actual historic performance numbers for each managed fund and are shown in dollar ($) and percentage (%) terms, relative to the original investment chosen.

• The growth outcomes (positive or negative) of the fictional portfolio will vary depending upon the investment value input and funds selected, and whether performance numbers are available for the terms.

• These calculations do not take into consideration your individual financial circumstances, earning potential and potential to make the ongoing investments, the impact of taxation or changes to an individual's cost of living.

• Limitations to the calculations apply and do not include or account for future changes to taxation, legislation and other economic conditions such as or changes in inflation or interest rates.

• These factors will vary the results that you will receive.
