How to buy managed funds with RaboDirect

Step 1: Read our IDPS guide

The RaboPlus Investor Directed Portfolio Service (IDPS) guide gives you important information you should know before investing online with RaboPlus.

Step 2: Select a fund that matches your investor profile

Once you understand your investor profile you can measure your tolerance to risk. Then it's time to decide on which funds suit you - take a close look at our fund selector to get started. 

The fund selector also gives you access to funds fact sheets, fees, past performance, Morningstar Ratings, Product Disclosure Statements (PDS), and the latest indicative prices. You can compare funds on the criteria important for you. Everything you need to start investing!

Step 3: Place your orders at any time

Once you have selected a fund that's right for you:

  • Click the 'Buy' button in our fund selector which will take you to the RaboPlus secure transactions site.
  • Login with your Digipass (you need to apply online if you're not yet a RaboPlus customer).
  • Enter the amount you wish to invest, you can start from as little as $250. Note: please read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) applicable to the fund you have chosen. 
  • Check your order then click 'Confirm' to digitally authorise your instruction with your Digipass.  
  • Next we'll confirm your order online, and display it in your portfolio.  

When you decide to sell out of any of your investments, login to RaboPlus and go to Managed Funds > Sell to view the funds you have in your portfolio. Select the desired fund and click 'Sell'. You will be asked to enter the number of units of the fund you wish to sell. You can also choose to sell a Parcel of your units.

Step 4: Complete, change or cancel orders online

You may cancel an order as long as it has not yet been processed. This means that prior to the cut off time of 11:00am (Sydney time), you can always cancel and change your orders.

Just login to your account and go to Managed Funds > Pending orders. If you wish to change an order, you must remember to first cancel the existing order. Then you're ready to place a new order.
