Liquid Assets

Assets that can be immediately sold or converted to cash.

Liquidity

The ability to easily turn assets into cash.

Listed Property Trust (LPT)

A managed investment scheme that owns real property. The units of a listed property trust are quoted on the stock exchange, and their prices fluctuate with supply and demand, as with equity investments.

Listed Security

A share or security which is publicly traded on an approved securities exchange. Prices of these securities are determined by the market.

Long-Term

In investments, long-term usually represents five years or more, though the number of years is not fixed.

Long-Term Investment Strategy

A strategy that looks past the day-to day fluctuations of the investment markets and responds to fundamental changes in the markets or the economy.
