How long have I got to provide the sufficient funds for the new Term Deposit?
The interest rate quoted for the term deposit will be honoured for 10 days from the date you completed the online account opening form, even if the advertised rate is reduced during that time. If the interest rate increases during that time, then the term deposit will be opened with the higher rate. However, if you take longer than 10 days to complete your account opening, the rate will automatically change to the advertised rate after 10 days. This may be either higher, or lower than what it was when you opened your account.
After 30 days, the request for your Term Deposit will be automatically cancelled in our system. However, we will try to contact you for further instructions before that happens.
