Why is the interest rate in my new Term Deposit higher than what I set up?
The interest rate quoted for the term deposit is be honoured for 10 days from the date you completed the online account opening form, even if the advertised rate is reduced during that time. If the interest rate increases during that time, then the term deposit will be opened with the higher rate.
