Applying for an account with RaboDirect

What happens after I apply online?

This depends on the account type, products selected and information during the account opening process.

  • In most cases you don’t need to provide information and the account is opened directly online for you. The next business day we will send out your Digipass (small security device) and welcome pack. Followed two days later with an activation (initial) PIN.
  • In some other cases you will need to provide us with some documentation that we need to complete the activation process.

At the end of the online account opening process you will be presented with a checklist that you can print out. This will state if and what you need to send in and will also clearly state the next steps.
