A word on our new widget

23 November, 2009

Want to keep up with the latest news and investor resources provided by RaboPlus?

Now you can with the new RaboPlus RSS widget. Our widget compiles various RSS news and video feeds from RaboPlus to let investors receive information straight to their desktop, Facebook or iGoogle pages.

It means we can keep you updated on the latest news and investor resources we’re publishing, as soon as it’s available on the web. The widget will let you know our latest interest rate movements, new managed funds available on our platform, new blog posts from myself and other RaboPlus senior managers, new investment articles, video interviews, upcoming webinars – and lots more.

We believe it’s a first in the Australian banking industry, but let us know if you’ve come across other financial institutions offering something similar (and whether you think they’re any good).

I encourage you to install and try it for yourself. It’s free and you can install the RaboPlus widget to your desktop, Facebook and iGoogle here – www.raboplus.com.au/widget.

We’re already starting to think about new widgets and applications we can come up with to help you become more savvy with your investments.

But as always, I’d love to hear your feedback. So tell us how we can improve the current widget and your ideas for what we should create in the future – please post your comments below.

Hi Peggy, what we are offering is an easy way for you to stay in touch with the latest news, interest rates movements, articles, blog posts and more from RaboPlus through our widget. You simply install the widget (which is a small application) to your computer's desktop (or embed on another web page if you use iGoogle or Facebook). You can then easily access our news feeds and videos over the Internet without having to visit our website.
